Global Talent Accelerator (GTA) Program

GTA assists international students and recent graduates looking to thrive in Michigan’s job market. In the GTA program you will:
> Learn skills from the experts on how to promote yourself with employers in the U.S. job market,
> Get coaching from professionals in your field,
> Attend events and workshops tailored to improve your chances of employment, and
> Receive ongoing coaching, support and connections with employers' post-graduation by the Global Detroit staff.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligible students should be:
> in their final years of graduate studies (expect to graduate in 2025 or later),
> eligible for OPT/CPT, and
> able to commit to attending five sessions held every Friday from March 28th to April 18th from 1pm-3pm (all sessions are in-person, except for April 4th, which will be a remote evaluation to gather feedback on your experience with the program). There will also be a job fair following the last session, a great opportunity to connect with employers located in Michigan!

We will be accepting a limited number of students and will prioritize early applicants. Students will be required to do a pre-evaluation and a post-evaluation of the GTA program, as well as participate in a focus group after our last session.
