Cerebra x Cowshed: Stori Lab

Cerebra is driven by finding innovative and exciting ways for disabled children to explore and engage with the world around them. In partnership with media agency Cowshed and Media Cymru, we’re launching a project called Stori Lab, finding new ways for children and young people to tell their own stories.

Media and digital communication can be a powerful and fun way to be creative, find community and represent the things that matters most in your life. We believe the world needs more stories told by disabled people. These stories or ‘content’ could take many different forms, from digital video, social media, animation or audio. We want to understand better how we can support disabled young people to create the content they want to see in the world.

With your input, this survey sets out to find out more about your child’s relationship with content creation - what are the stories they might want to tell, and what is standing in their way? Your input will inform our next steps with Stori Lab, when we hope to select a pilot project to put what we’ve learnt into action and create something special. If your child has an idea for a story they’d love to share, tell us about it!
