Thank you for your interest in being an employer partner in the
Digital Marketing Skills Experience.
The
Digital Marketing Skills Canada (DMSC)
consortium, comprising Jelly Academy, Growclass, and the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA), is partnering with Upskill
Canada to upskill 1200 mid-career workers over a 15-month period into new digital marketing careers. The consortium is targeting the placement of 75% of these workers into high-demand digital marketing roles in strategic sectors by the project’s completion.
DMSC’s vision is to upskill early and mid-career Canadians into rewarding digital marketing careers in high-growth Canadian knowledge sectors. In support of this vision, the
Digital Marketing Skills Experience (DMSE)
program will act as a career launchpad, to provide experiential training while creating new pathways for transitioning participants into meaningful employment.
The DMSE serves as a strategic bridge for employers to engage with diverse and skilled talent. By participating in this program, employers can access additional benefits, such as an onboarding fund, while enhancing their team's capacity with highly trained professionals. Participants coming out of the consortium’s upskilling programs are equipped to apply their skills in real-world settings, build valuable industry connections, and contribute to industry-relevant projects, ensuring they are ready for long-term success in the workforce.
The
DMSE
program involves up to eight weeks of industry-integrated training and on-the-job experience.
