The opportunity of a lifetime*: we’re hiring a marketing generalist at Wynter.
You know, one of those “army knife” types. A fearless marketer who already has their sleeves rolled up and can’t wait to dive in and get it done.
To be upfront, we’re looking more for the right individual than to check the title, tool, and technology boxes.
You’ll join the Revenue team; we’re responsible for the creation, capture and conversion of demand into closed won, the success of our customers, and the expansion of their accounts.
Your role will be handling many of the various one-off and recurring marketing tasks common to B2B startups.
You have:
- An understanding of what “works” in B2B marketing
- A growth mindset that drives you to learn and improve
- Courage and willingness to dive in and figure things out
- Ability to write well, and have a history of working with content (organic social, blog, etc)
- A key personality trait: proactive - not needing to be told what to do, always taking responsibility and showing initiative
Some of the day-to-day tasks you’ll encounter:
- Creating engaging content that is relevant to our audience
- Email marketing to customers and subscribers in HubSpot
- Organic social marketing on major platforms (esp LinkedIn)
- Setting up, optimizing and measuring digital ad campaigns on major platforms
- Running virtual events in Livestorm
- Using Canva to create or edit basic graphics
- Making website changes and updates in Webflow
- Working with other team members and freelancers on projects
We’re a startup, so flexibility and an absence of fear when it comes to approaching and using new technologies is key. And you’ll be granted that flexibility and understanding in return.
You won’t need to code, but you might need to place a tag in Tag Manager and update the website in Webflow. You aren’t expected to be a graphic designer, but you might need to jump into Canva and make some edits.
If you can’t do it today, no problem. Your growth mindset will drive you to learn how, and your colleagues will be here to share their experience, support and help.
What’s in it for you:
- Be part of the next SaaS success story. This company is gonna go places.
- Remote position
- Career growth opportunity in a fast-growing company
- We don’t overwork people, it’s a 40 hour work week.
- You get a fun, driven team of colleagues to work with.
- 30 paid vacation days - plenty of time to sharpen the saw
- Flex hours - we care about shipping, not when you’re at the computer
About Wynter
Wynter is boostrapped, fast-growing, and totally differentiated. We give B2B companies feedback from their target customers in 12-48 hrs.
We're creating a new sub-category of on-demand ICP research for B2B SaaS companies.
There's limited pre-existing demand we can harvest via PPC/SEO/outbound, so the focus of our marketing is about creating new demand and damming the demand.
Our situation
Our top marketing challenge: most of the market does not know we exist. We need to do more to market the category, category entry points, and our brand.
Word of mouth and organic social (including the founder's LinkedIn) drive most of our pipeline today. We need to increase the weekly demo volume AND make Wynter well-known among B2B SaaS marketers.
Our ICP is a B2B SaaS company with revenue north of $50M (the bigger, the better). We sell into B2B product marketing and demand gen. The typical ACV is around $19k.
This is a perfect role for a go-getter who wants to become great at marketing and can execute fast, independently. You will do a wide range of hands-on work, just like you’d expect from the scrappy, bootstrapped startup that we are.
This is an entry-level position at an early-stage, bootstrapped company, and the salary level reflects that. Only continue if this is aligned with what you're looking for.
