If something has happened, always remember that you can follow these steps:

✔️ Notify us of the event as soon as reasonably possible.

✔️ Take all reasonable measures to avert or minimise any loss or damage covered by the policy;

✔️ If possible, provide copies of any legal document or other communication you received about the claim. If this relates to an injury, photographs of the accident/incident scene including any observable damage may also be helpful;

✔️ Cooperate fully with us in any investigation, negotiation, defence or settlement of any claim. This may include attending court to give evidence;

✔️ Do not appoint lawyers, or admit liability to any loss, damage or injury, or settle or attempt to settle or defend any claim without speaking to us (and obtaining our prior written consent);

✔️ When other parties may be liable to you for the loss or damage you must not agree to release those parties from any liability;

✔️ It's important to comply with all policy terms and conditions at all times.
