Introduction

On 28 February, the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan launched a public consultation on the creation of a Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) for Oxford Street.

In order to set up a MDC, the Mayor is required to seek the views of the public. The consultation also seeks views on the principle of pedestrianisation.
