Thank you for choosing to complete this survey.
We want to learn what older adults (age 60 and above) and people who take care of them (caregivers) think about the challenges and opportunities related to growing old. We also want to find out what could make Senior Living Communities a viable option for older adults in Nigeria.
Before you start, we want to define a few things:
Older adult-
anyone from age 60 years and above.
Informal Caregivers-
Children and relatives of older adults who are directly or indirectly involved in the care of their older adults.
Formal Caregivers
- Trained professionals such as nurses and personal care assistants who are paid to provide care for older adults.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) -
daily tasks such as feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, toilet use, use of stairs, transfers, etc.
