My name is Ronelle Anthony. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. I wrote my first poem when I was 13 years old. It was called, “Life”. I can still recall the beginning, “Life is a treasure of metrics and measures...” You might say,
“What can you possibly know about life at 13, Ronelle?”
Ha! Ha! I get it.
You see, I was a dreamer then. I still am and I always will be...
I had ideas and ideals of what I wanted for my life. I knew for sure, that I loved people. I knew I wanted to uplift and inspire. I knew I loved to dance in the ballet, and write poetry. I knew I wanted my own family, and I knew I wanted to be a mom.
I have two beautiful daughters and one amazing grandson. They are my greatest joys on earth and I am VERY PROUD of them!
