What's this survey about?
This survey is a 15-minute survey conducted by DrawHistory, a social change strategy and design consultancy based in Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia. This survey aims to understand how the pandemic affects how people aged 20-40 in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) understand their purpose in life, and what's stopping them from achieving it.

In general, what is 'purpose' in the context of this survey?
In this survey, purpose is a long-term goal that motivates us to do and decide what we do today. It is one of the ways that we find meaning in our lives.

What will I be asked to do?
Should you agree to participate, you'll complete a questionnaire asking about your personal perceptions, beliefs and actions towards your individual purpose, whether that is at work, in your social life, or in society at large.

What are the possible benefits?
This study will contribute to knowledge of post-pandemic culture. Our hope is that reflecting on purpose will help purpose-driven workplaces alter workplace culture for the better. Upon completion, you'll also be compensated for your time in accordance with the minimum hourly wage.

What are the possible risks?
There's no significant risk associated with this questionnaire. For those participating in this survey, your information will be kept confidential and anonymous. If you feel uncomfortable at any point during the survey, you're free to stop your participation at any time.

Do I have to take part?
No. Participation is completely voluntary and you may withdraw at any time for any reason without negative consequences. Our team will destroy any unanalysed data from you if you decline to participate in the study.

Will I hear about the results of the project?
We'll share the research results through a white paper and interactive report. You can request a link to these resources once they're published.

What will happen to information about me?
All your responses will be treated as confidential and never associated with your name. Only the responsible researchers will have access to the data and it will be stored in a secured workplace drive. Data will be securely stored for six years for future analysis.
