Gamers Self-Perception and Gaming Spending Habits Survey

While many people enjoy playing video games, some may occasionally feel uncertain about their gaming skills and achievements, regardless of their actual skill level and results. This survey is part of a Master’s thesis research study at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, and aims to explore how self-perception of gaming skills, achievements and experiences relate to in-game purchases. By participating, you will contribute to a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and psychological patterns within gaming communities.

Please proceed with the survey only if you have played video games within the last six months (on PC, console, mobile etc.).

At the end of the survey, you will have the option to voluntarily enter a giveaway as a token of appreciation.

Your responses will be used solely for research purposes as part of this study. If you have any questions contact the researcher at gipstudy2025@outlook.com.
